Inscribed "Harrow County School for Girls… This Bible is a replacement of the one dedicated to Miss Huskisson in 1941 and is given in the year 1967 in memory of Janet Olivia Forrester by the pupils to whom she was Form Mistress in the years 1917-1920". Edge of the pages are gold in colour and the cover is maroon leather. Page markers (two ribbons). Cover has Harrow County School for Girls' logo and "Nisi Domine Frustra" written in gold lettering as well as a gold border. The spine has "Holy Bible" in gevel lettering. Bound to match Bible 1987:307, but larger and in cardboard box. Hand written "own father" beneath bible in box.
ProvenanceDonated by Lowlands College, 1987. Inherited by Lowlands College from predecessor Harrow County School for Girls.
