Description18 fragments of clay pipes. Two bowls, broken; two plain spurs, both flat; two small prominent spurs with initials , ID and JC; eleven stem pieces of varying thickness and bore sizes; and one stem piece, much the least worn, stamped "WESTON BROS" and on other side "UXBRIDGE".
ProvenanceFound at 54 Waxwell Lane, Pinner in 1973.
CommentsThe Weston Bros. piece is early 20th century, but the other pieces include much earlier examples. For instance, spur initials usually predate 1860.
