DescriptionBlack and white photographic postcard showing Dear's Farm, Bridge Street, Pinner. View south-east down an unpaved Bridge Street toward the Waxwell Lane junction, which is just visible on left. On right, large white Tudor-style farmhouse is visible beyond a fenced off-garden. Young girl stands on the pavement in front of the house. On the bottom left, "J.V." trademark symbol in a circle, and on bottom right caption "Pinner Hill". Reverse split into two halves for correspondence and address, with designated place for stamp. At top, branded: "VALENTINES SERIES / FAMOUS / THROUGHOUT / THE / WORLD" with two globes. Postcard unused.
Notes in pen and pencil on reverse, including: "c. 1905 Dears Farm, demolished 1935 to give site to Langham Cinema. Really a view down Bridge St from Elm Park Rd, Police Stat. & "Oddfellows" on left".
