Ordinary curving brown metal shoehorn, with hole at narrow end and piece of knotted black shoelace through it forming a suspension loop (shoelace likely modern). Inscribed: "FREEMAN, HARDY & WILLIS LTD / FOR BOOTS AND SHOES FOR ALL KINDS OF WEAR / BRANCHES EVERYWHERE / Price 1d."
