Whitefriars 'Yard of Ale' glass vessel, in Kingfisher. Holds approximately 2 pints.
Provenance
Frigger made by glassblower Stanley Cousins for his own use.
Comments
Named after its length, a yard of ale can hold approximately two and a half pints of beer. Between 1966 and 1976 Whitefriars produced Flint versions, and from 1976 began to make them in Ruby.
