A carter feeds his horses in the road (left) and a school master, a group of women, and two Harrow pupils are depicted by the wall of the school house (right). The view down the road includes various buildings, including a public house, and St Mary's church in the distance. Artist details below. 'On stone by L. Haghe...from a painting by Mackay'.
