Artist details inscribed at bottom left of image: 'Drawn from Nature by Thos. Wood, on stone by W. Walton'. Publication details inscribed bottom right: 'Pub. by C. Hullmandel'. Later ink annotation reads: 'Mr. A. Winkley from J. Cunningham'. Thomas Wood (1800-1878) was the drawing master of Harrow School from 1837-1870.
