DescriptionScorecard and engraving associated with the Silver Arrow event, 1769-1770. Engraving shows a view of the shooting match. A man with a bow and arrow aims at a target, while pupils and spectators are gathered in circles watching. Below the image are the score cards for the 1769 and 1770 matches. Names of competitors for both years are handwritten, but scores are not recorded. Title printed below engraving: 'A View of the Shooting for the Silver Arrow, at Harrow the Hill'. Publication details inscribed bottom right: 'Printed for W. Todd in Adam & Eve Court, facing Poland Street, Oxford Road & H. Webley Bookseller in Holburn. Also to be had at Mr Gardner's shop, Harrow'.
