Spire-like granite fountain with octagonal stepped base in foreground on right. Elmdene and Grange Cottage on left in background. Printed in white at bottom: "THE FOUNTAIN, CHURCH LANE, PINNER." Reverse divided into two sections by printed line. No publishing information. Postcard used, sent to Harrow. Franked 24 October 1947 with George VI 2d stamp. Later notes in pen on reverse.
