| Description | Black and white photographic postcard showing Malborough Hill (Bridge Street), Pinner. View from junction with Love Lane, looking north-west toward police station, gabled roof visible in distance on right. Semi-detached houses on left, with sign "GURNEY & HILSDEN" in front. On right, long wall which separates road from private estate with large trees. Four men and three dogs walking and cycling on road. White frame around image. At bottom, text in black: "HARROW LIBRARIES / Postcard Series No.2/2" and "OLD PINNER / Bridge Street. 1908". Reverse split into two halves for correspondence and address, with designated place for stamp. Unused. Notes in pen on reverse, including: "NB: E M Ware original says c. 1902". |
