Several layers of leather stitched together, strip with hold for thumb, metal raised disc with indentations like a thimble in centre of palm and metal-studded extra 'heel'. Secured with leather loops around back of hand, tied with string though each end, 'Hand' marked "....FIELD & SONS REDDITCH"
