Description
Put and take game top (a teetotum, like a dreidel) of solid cast and turned metal. Shape designed for spinning with six-sided main section, handle and knob. Sides stamped "PUT ONE"; "PUT TWO"; "ALL PUT"; "TAKE ONE"; "TAKE TWO"; "TAKE ALL".
Comments
The game only requires this one piece. It can be played with coins, beans, counters etc. The earliest instance of the term 'Put and Take' seems to be 1921, but 6 sided teetotums have been known since ancient Greece.
