Description	Medal and ribbon awarded for service during WWII. Flame-coloured ribbon with green edges upon each of which is a narrow black stripe. Silver coloured medal; Obverse: King George VI bust. Reverse: Royal Crown resting on an oak sapling, flanked by a lion and a lioness above stylised waves, flanked by "1939" and "1945" with "Defence Medal" beneath.
