Description	Motor fuel ration book of petrol coupons. Pale yellow with red print. Coupons are for Motor Car including tricycle not exceeding 100 cc - 1-9. H.P. Book no. "LH 655986". Coupons are marked N 2 Units and L.1. units.
Comments	Petrol was the first commodity to be rationed, because it had to be imported from overseas. By 1942 petrol was only available for essential war work, and a special permit was needed to obtain it.
