"1861" in white bricks on end of building, wooden fence below with paper sign affixed: "[illegible] KIPLING / FAMOUS / NOVEL / TO-DAY". Couple walking arm in arm on pavement before building. "GAZETTE / PHOTOGRAPH [...] No. 10318" stamped on back. Notes on back in blue pencil including "take out car"; car visible in original photograph GB1102/LHC/4/2/1/16 no longer present. Note in ink on back: "The Pinner Parish Hall, formerly old [illegible] school, has long been scheduled for demolition".
