Description
Black and white photographic postcard showing St John the Baptist Church, Church Lane, Pinner. View of south side of church, with wall to church yard and lych gate visible in foreground. Loudon memorial visible in centre, entirely covered in ivy. Image washed out at top. At bottom, printed in white: "PINNER. PARISH CHURCH." and "55590." Reverse split into two halves for correspondence and address, with designated place for stamp. Postcard used, sent to Ashingdon, Essex. George V One penny stamp, franked 15 July 1928. Publishing information on left, partially obscured by message: "THE PHOTOCHROM CO. LTD. [illegible] WORKS TUNBRIDGE WELLS". Later notes in pen and pencil on reverse.
